Blend: Right-bank-style Bordeaux Blend: 75% Cabernet Franc, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon
Vineyards: The Cabernet Franc is from the Gamache Vineyard in the White Bluffs AVA. The Cabernet Sauvignon is from Tapteil Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA.
Harvested: Cabernet Franc – 10/1/21 (Brix – 25.2, pH – 3.87); Cabernet Sauvignon – 10/07/21 (Brix – 27.1, pH – 3.79)

Alcohol: 14.5%
Fermented in open fermenters. The Cabernet Franc was aged for 21 months in 100% new French Oak. The Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 21 months in 100% new American Oak.
Aromatics: Pretty spice, primarily cloves, and lightly toasted oak.
Palate: Begins with pretty strawberry followed by spice accents (cloves). The mid-palate is drying with integrated, wood tannins followed by beautiful berry compote flavors, and ends with a long drying finish. As the name suggests - a very pretty or lovely Cabernet Franc-dominant blend.
Color: Medium garnet or crimson
Food Pairings: Pork loin roast, pot roast, and/or prime rib.
When to drink: This wine is beautiful and ready to drink now. It should continue to improve over the next 2 to 3 years and should age well for another 5 to 10 years.
